chapter 10~11

Emerald City

    Finally, they reached Emerlad City!! Eveything was green colour in Emerald City such as houses, tables, clothes, shoes, hats, candies, cars, and even coins, while everyting  had been blue in Munchikins's city. If you can change colour all the world, what colour will you choose?  Hmm.... I would like choose blue. This is because blue colour seems to make comfort people's mind.


   They had to put on the spectacles(like sun glasses) because if they didn't wear specracles, the brightness and glory of Emerald City would blind them.  Have you ever wore 3D glasses? When wear glasses, they make fantastic and real scenes. Likewise, I believe that the spectacles would make Emerald City more gloriously,  mysteriously, gorgeously.

Meeting Oz

      They had been anticipating to meet Oz for long time. It was time to meet Oz eventually. As they were told, Oz could change his shape as he wanted like a Big Head, a Beast, a Beautiful Lady. If you can change your shape 10minuite, what do you wnat to be? I want to be a Flying fish, so I both hope to fly in the sky and breathe in the water!! ^^


    They want get their wish incontinently, but Oz required cost which is to kill the Wicked Witch of the West. So, Dorothy and her friends fell into disorder. Indeed, they could give the needs for Oz? This is really cliff-hanging and exiting story!

The Wizard of Oz (6) The Rugged Journey(HJ Lee)

 

Chapter 7~9

 

 

They met many rugged stuations in the journey to Emerald City. These days are so eventful.

 

 

1. Going Over a Wide Ditch 

 

2. Getting Away From the Kalidahs(ferocious wild animal)

3. Another Gulf Across the Road

     Scarecrow, who doesn't has a brain, solve the Three Problem, only he knew how did they do! 
  I thought again that he wuold already has perfect brain in his head instead of straw.  

    In addition, Woodman's sharp axe and Lion's strong front legs cooperated, so, they
overcame these hardships! 

  I think Cooperation has big power! It makes Synergy effect.

 
4. Scarecrow fell in the mud                                           5. The Deadly Poppy Field

    As a long pole stuck fast, so Scarecrow was lefted clinging to the pole in the middle of river. Then the other friends tried to save him, but they couldn't do anything. However, a Stock save Scarecrow.

    They met Poppy field, where is so beautiful but dangerous flower because the folower has poison smell, they were slept by the Poppy flower except Scarecrow and woodman.  Scarecrow and woodman coudln't save the other friends, but the Field Mice help them, so they  escaped there safety.

What did you think when read it? I thought that we have three kind of method solve some problems.
1. do myself
2. do together
3. do from someone.

We always try to solve oursleves, but, sometime,  the solution is in unexpected way.

Charlotte's Web - Chapter 8. - Kim

Chapter 8. On Sunday morning, fern and her family ate breakfast. When they were eating, they talked about their animals. Fern talked about what she saw and listened at barn. About Wilbur, Charlotte, Templeton. Mother was worried about her. Because she thought that it is not normal talking. She didn’t believe Fern’s talking. And she talked her husband. “I’d like to ask Dr. Dorian. “But her husband told her, “maybe they do talk, our ears aren’t as sharp as Fern’s,” he thought kids always like that. He didn’t worry about her. When I was young, I was same as her. I listened animals talking, I talked with them, I could read animals mind but I don’t know why now I can’t listen. Maybe my imagination is gone. Sometimes I’d like to talk with everything? Human, chair, animals, books and so on. Because sometimes I think about when I was young. Sometimes we want to come back to when we were young. In fact we can’t come back. However we can think same as when we were young. If you are open your mind and listen carefully.

Charlotte's Web - Chapter 7. - Kim

Chapter 7. Wilbur liked his house of barn. He gained a lot of weight. He grew and grew. He ate three big meals a day. Someday, someone spoke to Wilbur. She is old sheep. She said to him that why they are fatting you up? Because they want to kill you and make bacon and ham. Wilbur was screamed. She said, “I’m an old sheep and I see the same thing, same old business, year after year.” Wilbur was cried yelled. And asked to Charlotte, “I don’t want to die. Is it true they are going to kill me?” Charlotte answered, “Well, the old sheep has been around this barn a long time. She has seen many a spring ping come and go. I’m sure it is true”. Wilbur burst into tears. He yelled and cried a lot again. Charlotte said to him. “Don’t cry. I will save to you. So stop crying.” Now Wilbur knew that true!!! How can he do after? I expect his story more!!!!

Chapter 6. This chapter just introduced about summer days. i think it is not interesting this part of story..hahaha :)

  Chapter 6

 

 

 

 

     Dorothy, the Scarecrow and the Tin Woodman met new friend! It's the cowardly Lion. At first time, the Lion looked like be awfully scared, but in fact, he was the Cowaedly Lion. When he face danger, his heart began to beat fast! Even he is the King of Beasts.

 

 

1.

    Interestingly, because the Tin Woodman doesn't have heart, he feeled envious of the Lion's fasting  heart. I realized that everyone feels envy other who has somethings that they doesn't have. Sometimes, I make a complain about life in Canada because I cannot speak English well, and I can't eat enough Korean food (I love Korean food sooooooooo much!). However, my friends live South Korea envy me live Canada. Therefore, let's remember that we should be thankful for what we have.

 

 

2.

    When the Tin woodman stepped upon a beetle, he killed the poor little things. Eventhough it's not his intention, he was very unhappy and sad. Then, his tears ran slowly down his face, mouth, and jaws, so he rusted his whole face. (However, even Dorothy and the Lion, who have the haert, couldn''t understand what he killed small things was what make to be sad.) The  Scarecrow understood it and oiled the Woodman. What are you thinking about this? 

   I found fun and interest things. The Tin Woodmanㅡwho hadn't heartㅡfeels hurts due to killing something, and the Scarecrowㅡwho hadn't brainㅡ did solve the problem. I believe,  the Tin Woodman and  the Scarecrow already have what they want to get, real heart and brain!!  On the contrary, Dorothy and the Lion didn't do anything though. Possibly, we may already have what we don't have something!
